Billboard - It's You

Ever since I heard Souvenir by Billboard, I got hooked immediately with his funk-laced sonics. But today, I'm really happy that the Montreal-based producer has beautifully crafted an EP called 'Memories.'

Of all the wonderful tracks in the EP, what stood out more to me was 'It's You.' It's sonically wavy yet powerfully driven; with mesmerizing atmospherics and unworldly depth, it's a must-hear track.

Enjoy the track below and make sure to check out the other songs on the Memories EP.

What would you get if you mixed Porter Robinson, k?d and Whethan's talent together on a single track? You'd get VALENTINE's new remix of "In Stone," written by BASECAMP from Nashville, TN.

VALENTINE has wonderfully arranged the original track into a new and fresh way, adding another layer of complexity on the sonics. The drop synths has a somewhat gritty, sharp and almost analog-ish sound to it but retains it's warmness. It's definitely something I've never heard a producer create before.

Although this remix is quite different from his other tracks, it's no doubt that VALENTINE is proving himself to be an artist who is constantly pushing his creativity to the limit. I'm excited to hear what he has in store for us in the future.

If you enjoyed this track like I did, give some <3  to VALENTINE's remix here.

Can this man ever be stopped? The Oakland based producer teamed up with SAINTS, creating a fantastically arranged song called "Numb." With awe-inspiring strings, warm enveloping synths, an immaculate voice, and an inedibly etched vocal chops, this track has nothing but awesome written all over it.

Although "Numb" is a distance away from all of his other tracks, KRNE is the definition of a genre bending, sonic defying and creative musician that is constantly challenging himself to break the mold. As to who SAINTS is, the mysterious artist will be revealed in the near future as stated on KRNE's reddit page. But in the meantime, remember to follow them and keep an eye out on KRNE's most anticipated album "Debris II."

Cymba - Paths ft. Josh Rubin

This should satisfy your fix for music to chill out to over the weekend.

Josh Rubin lays down some smooth vocals over a wavy, mellow instrumental produced by Cymba in “Paths”. If this doesn’t help take your mind off all the stressful things that happened last week, I don’t know what will.
