Pastel - Vagabond

One of my personal favorites from French multi-instrumentalist/producer Pastel, as featured on Sundae Sauuce’s 3rd funk compilation, Chocolate Drizzle.

I can’t wait to see what Pastel has in store for Tokyo when he comes to perform his live set, which will feature some unreleased material. Join us on April 27th for the fun!

Sunni Colón - Baby I Don't Mind

I’ve currently been obsessed with this addicting track, “Baby I Don’t Mind” by LA-based singer-songwriter/producer Sunni (Colón). The blend of funky bass, subtle synth chords, and Sunni’s soothing voice coalesce into a perfectly produced masterpiece.

Sunni has quite the impressive background, taking the leap into pursuing music professionally following a career as a project manager for a design company. This led him to his 2016 release of his Thierry Disko EP, as well as founding his creative agency, TETSU. He’s also worked with some heavy-hitters, like on his track “Little Things”, which was co-produced with Kaytranada.

Be sure to follow Sunni (Colón) as he rises to the top.

NoMBe - Wait

NoMBe brings us a soulful track that showcases his amazing vocal and guitar work. This one is jam-packed with catchy vocal hooks and lead guitar lines. "Wait" is off his debut album,  "They Might've Even Loved Me", which is filled with 18 great heartfelt tracks like this one.

"At the age of 19 years old Noah McBeth, otherwise known as NoMBe, went with his class on a trip from Germany to Las Vegas. Unlike his classmates, NoMBe never got on the return flight back to Germany. Instead, he stayed behind in the US to pursue his dream of making a career for himself in music. This year, NoMBe makes a tribute to all of the women through his art that might’ve even loved him…

Reminiscent of a diary, NoMBe’s forthcoming debut album, They Might’ve Even Loved Me, is a brutally honest account of romance, sex and heartbreak. The album was inspired by an array of women who’ve helped shape his life: from his godmother Chaka Khan, to high school crushes, girlfriends and summer flings."
