Jerry Folk - A Disco Edit

Jerry Folk brings back some old school vibes with his latest disco edit, featuring samples from Cautious Clay and Japanese artist Anri. With the “Remember Summer Days” sample, this track really reminds me of works by artists like Nightempo or Yung Bae, so be sure to check this out if you’re a fan of their work.

Jerry Folk just made this track available for free download, so if you like what you hear, take advantage of that before it’s too late!

The young Norwegian producer has made quite a splash in the music scene in 2018 with his unique blend of indie, disco, funk, R&B, and house, and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us in 2019.

Haywyre - Square One [New Album Release]

Haywyre just dropped a new album, Panorama: Discover, filled with a diverse array of sounds from future bass to funk and jazz. I’m constantly in awe of the creativity Haywyre brings through his top-notch production, sound design, and blending of future bass-esque drops, jazzy lead progressions, and funky grooves. Here’s my current favorite off the album, “Square One”.

Rumor has it that Haywyre is already working on another album, set to be released in the coming months so be on the lookout for that as well!

Pastel - Melt

Some more fire from French producer Pastel. Everything about this is so on point, from the crisp percussion to the funky guitar riffs and subtle vocal chops.

Pastel has been on a roll with frequent releases, including both originals like “Melt” and remixes of popular tracks like Childish Gambino’s “This is America”. Let’s hope he keeps this momentum going ‘cause I’m hooked on his sound and need more.
